Art-K’s children-only holiday workshops give your child a full or half day to dive into creativity with other young artists, looked after by trained teachers in a warm studio setting. In small groups, they work through a complete project from first sketch to final details, rotating across paints, clay, printing, mixed media and more so no two holidays feel the same.
Each child chooses their project from a curated menu of options (like clay turtles or seascapes), then personalises it so every artwork is genuinely their own. The day is paced with breaks, social time and clear routines, creating a space that feels sociable and energising, but never rushed. They leave with paint on their sleeves, new techniques under their belt, and a finished piece that says, “I did this myself.”

Half day
BEBOND Score 46 / 60
Your child spends a half or full day in a welcoming studio, joining other 6–16 year olds to learn real art skills in a playful, low-pressure environment. With high teacher-to-student ratios and an age-appropriate structure, they’re supported to stretch themselves creatively while feeling safe, included and proud of what they make.
BOND - 7 / 10
Builds a sense of belonging as part of a group of young artists who share materials, ideas and encouragement throughout the session.
Forms new friendships across ages as they chat over snacks, admire each other’s work and celebrate finished pieces together.
EXPLORE - 9 / 10
Tries out different mediums in one place – from acrylics and watercolour to clay and printing – discovering what they enjoy and what challenges them.
Learns new techniques through themed projects (for example, sculpting and painting a clay turtle, or creating “shoes on the beach” in acrylic) that stretch curiosity and imagination.

OBSERVE - 7 / 10

NURTURE - 8 / 10
Benefits from a supportive, non-competitive atmosphere where progress is measured against their own journey rather than comparison with others.
Gains confidence from gentle guidance and specific praise, learning that mistakes can be worked into the artwork rather than thrown away.
DREAM - 7 / 10
Uses each project brief as a springboard, adding their own stories, patterns and colour choices so the final artwork expresses their personality.
Starts to imagine themselves as an “artist” who can create gifts, decorate their space and keep exploring ideas beyond the workshop day
BEBOND Score 43 / 60
While your child is immersed in the studio, you gain reliable, engaging childcare and the peace of mind that they’re spending the day doing something meaningful, active and screen-light. They come home tired in a good way, with concrete skills to show, stories about new friends, and a piece of art that makes the whole day easy to talk about.
